Need car loan with defaults!
Hi
I need a car loan. I have a high salary (£60,000) + no debt problems in last 4 years and have good bank statements / proof of income. Green lights on all my files from last 18 months. My experian report is clear however my equifax report has 5 defaults (2 statisfied) and two open (copies of the 2 statsfied) and I am still in dispute from 2004 about these! Long story.
Can anyone recommend a good broker for car loans (£10,000), I understand with my credit history I am going to struggle with defaults - and accept a high %. My old car is dead and I don't want to buy another banger. I have spent way too much on my current one its just not worth the hassle.

Hi Paul
I would imagine the interest rate on a £10k loan for you with unsatisfied defaults is going to be extortionate, I understand what you are saying about not wanting an old banger but why do you need to borrow that much????
To put it in context, I had a brand new Clio a few years ago and had loads of problems with it for the 3 years I had it, we then were given my dads old runabout an old L reg peugeot 106 with 120k miles on the clock (petrol engine too) and had that for 2 years and it never missed a beat, now my brother has it and uses it every day and he loves it, it flies through it's mot and never lets him down
I guess what I am trying to say is you can pay £10k for a car or £1k and it doesn't guarantee you that the more expensive car will be trouble freeAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00
