Fifa 09 Bargains?

I spent most of last night trying to find out from Tesco's if my nearest store was stocking Fifa 09 ready for the 12.01 release date after seeing the advertisement in the papers.

After 2 hours of trying to talk to someone with no success I decided to go to Tesco's in Sudbury, Suffolk at 12.00am this morning. I waited (along with 8 other people) we were told after 25 minutes of waiting that they didn't have Fifa 09 in stock and that was it!

So now I will have to spend £40 and buy it from Game and then wait until I get home from work to play it - I'm well cheesed off!!

went to get my copy of fifa 09 for the xbox in tesco today, and surprise, surprise, they didn't have any to sell!!!!!! what a joke! advertize it in all the papers, and come release date they don't have any!
What's the point...........

nooky ...what Tesco did you go to? ..i got mine from Yeovil extra at 12.01am. I didnt realise it was only certain Tesco's

Tesco.com have it on PS2 for £19.71 and if you enter 'freedel' as a coupon you get free delivery too

I tried Tesco ( Top Valley,Nottingham) This afternoon = none left for xbox360 or ps3

Hucknal,Nottingham had 4 left for xbox360 but i bought 1

Tesco as advertised in today's paper Tesco will be selling PS3 & Xbox 360 copies for £29.71, so with price match & 10% discount = £26.47

Went to my local PC World this morning and picked up a copy of FIFA 2009 (PS3), they are selling it for £39.99. At the till I advised them that Tesco are selling the same product for £29.71, the girl on the till laughed but said she would have to confirm this by calling the local store and if i was correct and they had stock she would honor the pricematch & discount. Tesco duly confirmed the price and advised that they only had 1 copy left (Lucky me!).

The girl then proceded to pricematch the product, however for some reason the cashier needed to manually enter the discount, obviously £10.28+£2.97 (10%). Needless to say i didn't assist, she gave up and put through at £24.71. Winner!! :j

At Morrisons from Monday 6th, offer only applies on PS3, £24.99. Cheapest I've seen!

The only proof I have is that I work in the admin office at the Newport Isle of Wight store.

just rang my local morrisons and they said the price for the ps3 was still £39.99. Boo! all tescos were sold out near me over the weekend.
