Free camera - 30 day trial offer from which

I haven't done this, but it would make a good chrissie pressy. I just saw it.

http://trial.which.co.uk/home.php?source_code=J5HM05

"Sign up for a free 30-day trial and receive a mini 3-in-1 digital camera... absolutely free. Sign up now!"

Not my words, but remember to sign off if you don't want the actual thing before the 30 days trial ends...or you'll pay presumably...unless you want it of course

I have done this before seeing this thread as I was looking for information about a product I was about to purchase. As it happens Which? did not have a review of the item I was looking at.

Anyway, I got the camera today and although it is not the most fantastic bit of kit I have ever seen I am sure it would make a nice little stocking filler for the younger people amongst us.

Comes with a small Tri Pod, 3AAA batteries, Camera (max Memory only 100Kb - enough for about 16 Photo's) and a handy cord. Also comes with full instrcutions and drivers on a CD, oh and a USB cable to link to the computer.

Not actually linked the camera up to the PC as yet so can not comment as to the quality of the photo's but no doubt they will be ok.

Regarding the subcription that I had with Which?, you can cancel easily by sending them an email. I did this today (email: editor@which.net) after less than 7 days since I applied and they replied straight away today confirming that my cancelleation request would actioned and no money would be charged to my Credit Card.

If you want a Free Camera - Got for it.!!! No risk at all. Although no doubt if everyone on here does it they might withdraw the offer..!!!!

This cameria is ideal for kids (and xmas is coming...), as it's free so it doesn't really matter if they lose it/ break it
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • I got the camera yesterday. It really is super, all silver with a fantastic tiny tripod too. Makes a smashing pressy for my 9 year old.
I noticed it only connects to a PC and not an apple mac, and that it mentions that it doesn't hold onto pictures for long....maybe coz of the tiny batteries.
The Which thing is interesting but they didn't have any information on what I was hunting for either...wasn't overly impressed otherwise I might have kept on with the subscription.

DO you have to do it within 7 days? Or can you cancel within the 30 day trial and still not be charged?

  • thanks for this, I was looking for a cheapy digital camera to take out and about with me, and I used my free subscription to work out what more expensive camera I should get my employer to buy me for my research!
  • The Battery is the Film. :P

If you take the battery out all the photos go off it. That's why it doesn't hold them long!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
This camera is ok for kids, but the quality is about 100k pixels, so only good enough for e-mailing. I took out this offer a while ago and sold the camera on Ebay, for a bit of spare cash
