So worried about Bailiff payments, advice please

I got behind with my CT and it got passed to firm of Bailiffs with whom I had an arrangement to pay £23 per week. One week I stupidly forgot to pay and my account got passed over to a Bailiff because I had "broken the agreement" which I am not disputing. What was a £500 balance has now become £700 because he says I incurred extra charges because it was passed to him for collection which seems scandalous. However, my real worry is that he has said I have to pay over £100 per week to get the balance cleared. For the past two weeks I managed to scrape it up but now I am really in trouble because I did that and as I am only living on tax credits plus a very small amount via self employment each week, there is no way that I can pay this amount every week. He told me the balance has to be cleared in three weeks at the latest or "further action" will be taken. I am worried sick that my car will be taken and what else is going to happen. The sickening thing is that if I was paying the council tax normally by dd then it wouldn't be paid up until Jan. Please can anyone advise me?

Please, I am so worried, is there anyone who can advise on this????
