To claim professional subscriptions the body you pay to must be recognised by HMRC and on their list 3

If the company pay half your fees you can only claim relief on the other half you actually pay. But you'll also have to pay tax on the amount your company pays on your behalf unless they have a dispensation in place which includes professional subscriptions0 -

Now I'll just have to find out about the dispensation. I'm sure there must be one, since otherwise there would be a LOT of people getting extra claims from the tax office!
I was only going to claim for the half I paid, of course
