I remember in 2005 they had as you say those disgusting little pods round the middle area , it stunk !

I ask , i dont smoke anymore but were off on a stag do and i know a few of the boys do like to have a smoke , in theold days you used to get outsise areas inside departures , well at luton anyway.

After you pass through security...nothing! As we found out after we went through 90 minutes before a 10 hour flight...

It's called outdoors - so if you haven't had your fix before you check-in there's a couple of branches of Boots where you can get assistance for drug addicts

Nope. In and out the long corridor to the designated smokers area at the last bus stop outside (for South Terminal departures anyway).

It's getting quite difficult these days to find designated smoking areas, the only thing I've seen is what Incapuppy has said.

I knew smoking areas will never agin be INDOORS i guess , just wondered if there was an ouside area nowadays

I did mate , couldnt see anything really , i suspected there wasnt and looks like there isnt ! observation area is inside i beleive as well
