Can I apply now?

Hi,
Have spent the last few days closing down old credit card accounts after getting my credit report and seeing how many were open.
I'm wanting to apply to Lloyds TSB for their 0% deal. How long should I wait.
My first direct deal ends 26th January so I'm keeping that in mind but obviously I don't want to be refused.
Also I applied in my husbands name a couple of weeks ago (with his permission of course!) and he was refused.
So what do you guys think. Should I go ahead and apply? or wait a couple of weeks?

Having read this through it sounds a bit mor credit cards than DFW, so if it needs to be moved thats ok.
