talking clock

Options
Having problems finding a talking clock...for someone who is not only having sight problems but is also a bit deaf.

Most of the ones I have located so far have very poor voices...either in volume or in quality.

Any suggestions?

This one actually states "voice assists those with sight limitations."

Ive got one from Boots which says the time and you can set the volume. In the morning you can set it to go off and the voice gets louder and louder the longer you ignore it.

Our Social Services department has a special team that work with people who have visual and hearing loss. They also run a sight and sound centre where you can try out various pieces of equipment. I would think that most social services department have such a team so I would give them a ring I am sure they would be happy to point you in the right direction.
