Hi there
You have a couple of options, but I don't think there is any way of getting it for free.
1. You can write to Experian or Equifax who will send you your report for £2 I believe, but I doubt it would include your score
2. You can get your credit report for free from creditexpert.co.uk but be careful as you will have to cancel your membership after 1 month before they start taking money from your account, but even though the report is free, to actually get your score you have to pay £6 or something like that.
3. Go to checkmyfile.com and sign up there, again it will cost you but I have personally found this the best one as it gives you your credit score from Experian, Equifax and Callcredit - they all vary greatly (well mine do anyway) but I found this site the best
Someone else will hopefully come along soon to offer more advice!
Hope this helps0 -
That's a tough one MBD. You can get a copy of your credit file for £2 from each of the credit reference agencies. Each, i believe offer to tell you your credit score at a cost, but each organisation has a different method of calculating the score so they will all vary. Someone posted recently that they had over 600 with experian, but Callcredit was about 160. These companies don't take into account your wage either so it is really not worth the money to find out what they say your score is.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Hi George
That was probably me who posted about the differing scores as i did yesterday
My experian score is 640, Callcredit 266 and Equifax 108 so really the score isn't much use0 -
I agree - can use Experian for free and get cash back, but I think scores depend on company that you applying to for credit

A specific agercy score means nothing anyway as each lender has their own scoring scale.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000
