charge order on my property?

hello,confused-smiley-013.gif

I have recently received a letter from a solicitor to say that there is going to be a charge order placed on my property, what does this mean, I have payed the CCJ religiously and my account got passed to another company, who I sent an expenditure form to that company and heard nothing back, next thing I know I receive this charge order. Is there anything I can do to contest this, I have stupidly not been making any payments whilst waiting for the response to the expenditure form. Any advise would be very much appreciated.

How long ago was the last payment?

Have a look on the consumeractiongroup forum to see if there is information there - i haven't really been able to find anything other than what a CO is.

  • thank you for the e-mail addresses I will look at them now. The last payment was two months ago. I stopped the payments whilst waiting for a reply about the expenditure, it was a standing order direct to the previous creditor and I did not want to be paying the wrong people.!
