Short period borrowing

Im trying to find out the best way of borrowing a large amount of money approx 10k for a period of only 3-6 months without incurring a large penality for repaying early

Any advice anyone??

    If you have a guaranteed way of repaying the amount and have a good credit history ask your bank for an overdraft.
    You will only get charged for the amount used.
