joint loans with ex-partners
well after a short 5 month marriage me and my ex wife split and we had a joint loan for £6000 (to pay for part of the wedding), ive evrymonth paid my half but she hasnt or wont pay hers and now the bank is chasing me for the money, i dont wanna get a bad credit rating but in the same hand dont want to pay her half either, any advice anyone please,

Unfortunately you are jointly and severably liable.
The bank will want the money paid back by any means and isn't interested in who pays it as long as its paid.
