Wonder if anyone has got any ideas on how to boil milk in a saucepan and not get the hateful 'deposit' layer across the bottom of the pan(such a b****r to clean) I am sure this has been talked about before but these days if I do a search it seems to bring up random unrelated threads!

Put the saucepan under the tap for a few seconds, swish the water around the saucepan, bottom and up the sides, tip it out, don't wipe it and then pour the milk in. After use it just rinses out.Loretta0 -
