There are some things in life that are a given: it only rains when you've forgotten your umbrella and builders will always spend more time taking tea breaks than actually doing any work.
But new research from Nutri-Grain has shown that builders should be feeling hard done by, because hairdressers and beauty therapists are the ones most likely to be found gossiping over a brew. And while most people take less than 10 minutes on their break, doctors and nurses take longer than anyone - between 20 and 30 minutes, on average.
While a quarter of us claim to feel guilty about taking breaks, having some time out could be exactly the right thing to do. Taking a break can help keep you keep alert, so you're far more productive when you return to work. So if tea breaks are a rarity in your office, it might be time to take a stand!
Make the most of your tea break with this Nutri-Grain Tea Break prize, containing a flask, teabags and a supply of Nutri-Grain Soft Oaties for you and your colleagues.
