The code is unique to your mobile - you have to request it from your Orange phone and show them the text therefore forwarding will not work.
Of course, you could request a free Orange sim
http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/simoffer
and register it just to take advantage of the cinema offer (keep it for this purpose, top up with minimum amount).

You can use it via a forwarded text, but the code can only be used once. So if someone is on Orange and is not going to use it that day they can let someone else have it. I would but went to the cinema this afternoon and used mine.0

I have never needed to show them the text, they just ask me to read it out, if anyone wants one any time, just pm me.0

It is easy enough to get one. If you are on Orange you text the word FILM to 241. You then receive a text with a unique code to show at cinema. Only valid for that day though and not all cinemas acept them, went to Reel Cinema yesterday afternoon, and they dont accept them yet, but said they should do soon. as lots of people asking about them. They have recently opened so maye they are not aware of it yet.If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
Why practice!:T0 -
good offer we always go to the cinema on Wed as half price. It's easy to do providing you have the text ready or the cinema people huf and puf!!0

It does work, I've forwarded the whole text, including the code to another phone. They looked at the message, tapped it in and it worked!0 -
In my local cinema they do not ask to see the text, i just say the code.0

Have done this many times, I'm just asked to read out the code, not to show my phone.

Can you use it for any performance, ie late evening ones on a Wednesday?0

Martin has asked me to remind you that it is against site rules to ask for or to send codes via pm, and I would personally advise against sending your fone no. via p.m. Thanks. I'm sure if you go to an orange shop or go on the orange website they will help you out.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
