Ah, I spoke too soon as I've just had THE email so will not be doing any more letters for them. A shame as the stamps were great and we haven't bought any for about a year. Does anyone know anything about the Parcel Monitor they mention in the email?

I've been a panellist for about three months and have the dreaded rejection letter.

They've offered, if I'm interested, a place in their "Royal Mail Parcel Monitor" and "Royal Mail Correctly Delivered Letters Monitor". Are any of you on this scheme and what does it entail?

The correctly delivered letters monitor is a 2-weekly survey they run periodically where you log the number of letters you receive each day and whether they were correctly delivered or not. You also log any items which were left on the doorstep by the postman. They usually send High Street vouchers in payment for that. I'm sorry, I don't know about the Parcel monitor.

Did those of you that has received the rejection email have any letters to post this week or next? i'm starting to worry now as i'm just getting into the swing of things with it and dont want to be dropped!! i have letters to post this week and next week and have just started a misdelivery survey so hopefully i'll be ok ?!?!

No, I didn't have anything to post this week or next which is the first time ever, apart from when I've been on holiday. If you've got letters to post and you're doing a survey, hopefully you should be OK (fingers crossed).

Fingers crossed they don't get rid of anyone else on here!

Just to try to put ppl's mind's at ease-
I was asked to send back all 5 of my SMARTS a couple of weeks ago, despite having items to post that should have had SMARTS included.
I had nothing scheduled to post this week or next, so my last posting was yesterday.

So those are the warning signs! Unless you are in a similar situation then hopefully you are safe for now!

I'm not sure what the parcels monitor is, but have emailed them to find out- might help to soften the blow of being rejected slightly :rotfl:

ok thanks, sorry for those of you who have been dropped, must be horrible especially as you haven't done anything wrong and its only because they're scaling down.

Me too! I'm so sad, I really enjoyed posting my letters

I did kind of guess though, cus I did not have any schuduled post for this week.
