After my sister bought a computer from Tiny that promptly blew up after the 1 year warranty had expired I've decided that in general I don't like the company.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
Tiny have had this on offer now for about 3 weeks to my knowledge and initially it said this price was only available for the first 1500 purchases. It has been advertised (almost) everywhere too so it musn't be up to much.
By the way I am no expert so stand by till a "techie" reads this.0 -
A good place for reviews on things like this is a site called avforums.co.uk.
This offer was posted there and has been rubished by most of the techhies there so I'd steer clear. Tiny are gradually getting a worse and worse reputation - the same as Time, so this obviously says something about their products.0 -
For a Budget all in one Plasma, take a look at the LG RZ-42PX11
or if you want one of the best value plasma's read about the Panasonic TH-42PWD6 this a monitor only.
Avforums is a great place for info, but the guys over there tend to be perfectionist IMO so you need to be careful you don't spend huge amounts of money to gain a very small increase in picture quality.0 -
I found avforums an excellent place to go when i bought my new TV. They are perfectionists, but they also know the best places to go to get the best discounts (and the best ways to get the high street retailers to match those discounts).
I saved nearly 200 quid on the telly I chose - which was highly recommended plus got John Lewis' free 3 yr warranty and learned a lot in the process
good site!!!0 -
This offer has been available for about 2 months. Tiny and Time are now one company - Computer World (I think). They keep advertising it as being for the first 1,500 so they can't be selling like hot cakes.
Having had a Tiny computer - I would steer clear. Quality not the best and customer/technical support even worse.0 -
Thanks for taking the time to reply chaps.
I'm away now to look at avforums.
Thanks again

If you can manage the extra couple of hundred go for the Panasonic PW6, absolutely superb.
This is a screen only so you'll need some sort of tuner, freeview or sky work perfectly and also some sound, either a set of speaker or a surround sound system.
You don't want to spend this sort of money and be disappointed, take my word for it, with the pw6 you won't be ;D
JohnnypanicThe person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.0
