16 duracell AA for less than £5

Asda lowestoft had loads of 16 duracell AA packs today for less than £5. sorry cant remember exact price. I assume this will be nationwide. I will have a look in asda norwich tomorrow and see if they have any.

    Maplin are selling 8 for £1.99 (special promotion - buy one for £1.99 get one free 4 packs) or 40 for £9.74.

    I belive that price is for maplin own brand batteries ( not that there is anything wrong with them) although I see they have energiser ultra for a similar price to the duracell in asda

    Are you from Lowestoft too? I was in Asda in Lowestoft today.

    I got 16 AA duracel batteries for £2.89 last week. They are selling all duracel batteries on bogof but there were a few packets left from an old promotion where you get 4 extra free in the AA packs and these still scanned on bogof. There wasnt many left though.

    No I live in Norwich but I work all over norfolk and suffolk.
