Kids task/chore site

Hi all,
I searched Google for help with chores for my 11 yr old, when I came across this free task site:
http://www.kidspoints.co.uk/welcome.php
Taken from their site:
Here's how it works…
Register for FREE and set up a personalized task chart for your child.
Parents and kids agree a reward from our Toys/Rewards section – or you can choose any reward from anywhere you like.
Points are earned by successfully completing the task – how many and how often is up to you and you can also add bonus or minus points along the way.
The points total required to successfully earn the agreed reward is set at 100 – keeping things nice and easy for you!
=========
I showed my son the site and we've agreed on £1 per week to pay for a month on Club Penguin, in return for keeping his room clean - clothes, books etc picked up, currently he's getting this for free which isn't teaching him anything!
Once your child reaches 100 points they get a certificate emailed to them which is a nice touch!
I know star charts are not for everyone but it is a freebie so worth posting I hope?!

I also registered for this but I wasn't quite sure how it worked
and I didn't like giving details about my kids on the website. I have since heard a few folks mention it so it must be good
Thanks for the info

Hi there,
Well basically you and your child create a 'task' and give 'points' for completing said task. You can change the task at any time during the week, so you could set your child to do their homework without complaining and in return they'll get 20 points.
The main flaw I've come across is not being able to set more than one task, so my son's main goal is to get a month on Club Penguin and in return I'd like his room to stay clean. He needs to gain 100 points in a week, so the only way I could work it, is to give 15 points per day, meaning that for 7 days he should earn over the 100 points.
If I could have added tasks I would have included things like teeth brushing; homework completion; putting dishes away etc. I could then have spread out the 100 points more equally throughout the week.
I might even end up making my own one up from scratch? I just thought of posting this one for other parents as its free!
As for your kids details being on the site, I wouldn't worry too much, no one but you and your child can access them.
