Looking for a cheap DVD-VCR player combo for xmas.

Any ideas would be great.

I am not sure, but the above DAEWOO looks like VCR-only ...

Why spend so much ? If your available space dictates then a £20 DVD player plus a £30 VCR from Richer Sounds (as mentioned) or Ebay is probably your best bet.

If the DVD or video conks out you just replace it (rather than both effectively) and you can choose the best DVD player with the features you want rather than being lumbered with those available on the combo deck.
