Newbie with Tesco, how do you use the codes

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've just started shopping with Tesco but am confused about the code system for getting money off the bill. Can you only use the codes system if you buy on line? How do you actually use the code system?

Hi, I am pretty new myself but you have to shop online, when you check out you have a space to enter the e-code, it will tell you if it had been accepted or not. In one month I got £40 back in points, so its well worth having a go of shopping on line, I actually spend less because I am not around the shop. Hope this helps

Yes you put the codes in on the checkout page and it will show a deduction from your bill immediately assuming it is a valid code. You can put lots of codes in your basket at the same time and it will save them. The next time you shop it will automatically use the code of the highest value unless of course you want to put another in at that time! I do it all the time...

Other thing you can do is change your clubcard vouchers to e-vouchers and use these online. Know that you get more for your money for days out and stuff but no good for me at the mo so just use them on the shopping!

Is there a way to get them to deliver the food for discount or even better free?? I have never used online becuase of this!
