I saw mentioned that 0870 didn't have a cheap number for sky....I use 01506421737 for sky customer services. It's a landline number, which I get free minutes for from my mobile (or free from my landline evenings and weekends). I've never had to wait too long (couple of mins max)
  • Thank you so much!!! I will be using that later!! :o)

hi, there. glad the problem was sorted. Like i say the£18 should be refunded by your bank through DD rules. Explain to the bank as you have here and they will refund you and claim it back from SKY. They cannot refuse you. Good luck with your £650
Why should sky refund, they activated during the billing period so sky billed them from the date the box did a call back to the date of the billing period, She temporarily cancelled the subscription, and was explained that once the card was inserted into another/same box viewing box, the call back would occur and rebill, So Sky were right to bill it is the OPs issue for not watching what they paid for, it is legal.

OP good luck with catching the little sh*ts who took the £650

dont know then the paper inside the mag, is the part with your name and address printed on it, and loads of other info, i never use to read mine, thought it was rubbish.
but they always print your name on a a4 size piece of paper its not stamped on the book or the outer plastic bag.

It was in the last edition not the one just received, and it said in fairly big letters.
  • What a coincidence....I didn't get that one sent to me. They added me to the distribution list after I complained to them but funnily enough decided to not answer my question about the increase!
