Royal Mail Christmas Jobs

Got a leaflet in the mail this morning that the Royal Mail are now recruiting for their temporary jobs in December. Thought it might be of some interest for people looking for extra work. Says you can apply online.

  • Can't seem to see the Christmas jobs? Searched as well and it has just come up with the permanent places.
  • After you click on Search & Apply another window should open- there's a box to put in your postcode, then from Contract Type select Christmas Casual Engagement. Tried it for my postcode and quite a few jobs showed up.
  • thought i would just mention that quite alot of xtra staff that were drafted in for christmas either ended up with full time employment or remained on the books for busy times when they just employ casuals ...do remember though that you will still have to be checked out by them as per any new royal mail employee and if it's delivery then it's not always the most fun in the winter ..but posties are the most fun to work with :T
