            Under 6% is a good deal and this gives you time to build up the equity in your home and clear a big chunk off your mortgage.
 £999 fee is £200 a year £4 a week !
 Dont forget you will hopefully have had 5 payrises in that time and if you can overpay a little each month a much smaller debt.

            Thanks dimbo61. Just needed someone to say it,s ok I think. I have plenty of equity right now and they offered me extra borrowing to clear a loan I have at the moment, but I resisted. Didnt see much to gain by doing that.:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

 Also overpay as much as I can each month( offset mortgage V-good )0
