Pension Sharing Order

This is far from my comfort zone, but I have a client who has been granted a Pension Sharing Order on divorce. The Company who have the pension funds have provided paperwork for her new pension company to sign to say they will accept the funds, but she has not been able to establish a new scheme yet. She has spoken with high street banks and a financial adviser but no one seems willing to help. Does anyone know anything about this type of thing?
Many thanks in anticipation of your help!

Your client needs an IFA as it is within the remit of most IFAs. It is possible a small number of IFAs wont do it as it is technically classed as pension transfer and some IFAs avoid that area of business.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
