Wet or dry underfloor heating?
[Deleted User]

We are having a one storey extension at the back of the house, it will be approx 10 sqm. Which underfloor heating should we go for, wet or dry? As I understand it, electric ufh (dry) is cheaper to install but more expensive to run. Then again, it will come on quicker than the water based one. Is this true? I haven't decided which flooring it will have, I am thinking slate but it may take ages to warm up
. I have a combination boiler by the way.
Many thanks for your advice.

the simpler option is elecky as you could virtually fit it yourself, its dead easy to lay. you can get a dvd from a warmup or wickes etc.
just slap down your tile adhesive and lay the matting.
you may need a sparky to wire it up for you though.
