Newbie in need of a boost

Like every one I want to be free NOW NOW NOW.

I am getting very organised with my finances although this is such a slow proccess.

and what annoys me is that "if" I could get one big loan to payit off my bills etc would only be £500 a month instead I pay £1200 month on trying to catch up GGGRrrrrr at my self for my younger days.

  • You'll need to put how much money you earn and where from too.....

Not much to start with....is the £200 you pay your dad towards the amount you said you owe him? It might be an idea to ask him if you can drop it to say £125/£150/£175 a month for the time being, that way you'll still be paying it off but have a bit extra each month to help towards things.
Also the £100 a month phone bill seems high, is that including an arrear? Because If not then you must be paying more than you should.....

Don't worry, you are in the right place for advice!

  • I take home £1415 per month from my job.

The £200 I pay my dad has already been reduced. I cant go any lower as He lent me the money from his overdraft. He doesnt have any money himself.

The £100 phone bill is also arreas yes.

  • Hmmmmm, how about the petrol too. Could you car share? Would public transport be cheaper for going to work etc?

Sorry I'm not great on the credit cards, interest rates and finance side but someone else should be able to help you on that!

I work in the country (yes that is country in Essex lol) so public transport would not be an option. Also my job is a IT engineer so I need my own car to make visits to customers with PC problems.
