Should i be worried? Advice Please

Really starting to get worried now with the financial mess thats happening in the momey markets

Im looking at advice on what to do to pay off my debts, Ie what to pay off first and also is my level of debt to high or manageable?

Im 30
Got 60,000k morgage clydesdale (£345 per month) house worth 70,000
Earn £20,500 per year
Other half is full time mum so no income other than the usual benefits

Debt
Egg Card £1900
Citi Card £1300 (low apr deal 6%ish i think for duration of debt)
Tax Credit overpayment  £1500 (currently taking v small installments)
Personal loan £2000 with Nationwide
Overdraft thats cleared everymonth £1000 on current account

I pay all my bills monthly utilites ect ect ect with 650 standing order from my account that breaks even each month or I save £20ish

Im left with £50 a week for petrol general spending and no savings

Should i be looking for the nearest bridge?!

Im not overspending each month so im living now within my means but im not getting rid of my debt quick either as everytings on minimum payments and neither am i saving

Any help/advice appreciated

  • Well done for posting people will help.
    Go to https://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html
There input all of your incomings as a family and all of your outgoings. You then format it for mse and add to this thread.
This will give everyone a clearer idea of your bills and they can advise on where to cut back.
The obvious for me to say now is to get council tax and water to be paid over 12 months and not 10. This will make a slight difference monthly.

If you post up a full statement of affairs, we may be able to see some savings in your expenditure and possibly advise on the best way to pay off the debts. Sometimes the order in which you pay them can save you money and provide more savings.
