Engagement ring is sharp!!

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I got my engagement ring last week (at long last!) and it is gorgeous! Its a square set ring but the trouble is that its really sharp. First time I washed my hands with it on it scratched my finger. I took it back and they buffed it up to make it less sharp but it still is! Im just worried about catching my baby with it.
Not sure what else they could do about it and I really dont want to look for another one!

which bit is sharp? I am guessing the stone is. I am not sure but I would guess that is like it on all square cut rings.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090

I think its because the stone is square - I have had square cut stones before and they do catch.0

you could turn the ring round so the diamond bit is in the palm of your hand when your with your baby
just a little idea or take it off and put it on a chain for a bit
