Good luck, a worthy cause. What sort of bike is it that you're selling? I know a couple of guys who will buy almost any bike (they bought this from me http://farm1.static.flickr.com/106/280517648_19b740d56c.jpg?v=0 )

    Hi MrOrchard,

Its a blue 99 Plate Yamaha YZF R6. I am going to take some photos of it this weekend.

In short, it has about 3500miles on it as I have been a useless biker since I bought it new. What a waste! It is in good condition but will need to be thoroughly checked before being declared road worthy and it has always been kept in a garage.

If you think the people you mentioned might be interested, let me know.

    Thanks,

  • Hi all and thanks for your kind posts. I have been sooooo busy. But as a quick update, I am just under £1900 pounds down. I sold my motorbike for £1600 and sorted out an insurance rebate I was owed for £296. I have been starting part 2 of my plan by getting all my other stuff on eBay. I will write a proper post to update you all this weekend, I promise.

In the mean time though, can you tell me a little more about the methods that have been mentioned here for making extra money? For example:

    Cash Back Sites
    Mystery Shopping
    Survey Sites

What are these and how do they work???

    Thanks to you all

Hi OP, have you looked into matched betting? If you can use a spreadsheet and understand fractions, then you're sorted. I reckon you could easily make £5k then

  • What a great challenge - wishing you the best of luck.

Your comment about being a useless biker really stuck with me - I was too - bought a brand new bike and then barely used it!
