Annual Statement For Skandia - Reduced

Options
Have a company pension with Skandia that I contribute to and so does my employer.
Basically just recd statement which shows that contributions into it were nearly £8000, where as it only increased about £600, in the year

My split is
SK Invesco Perp UK Growth 24%
SK Axa Framlington Equity Inc 24%
SK Rathbone income 24%
SK Jupiter Financial Opps 14%
SK M&G Managed Growth 14%

I do understand that investments go up and down.
However these were previously good performing funds, so my question is do I now start to swap to somewhere else is making money?
Or do I stay with them on the basis that I'm now buying more units as price is reduced and that they will start to pick up ?

I'm new to this so advice would be useful, as ive booked to see the works financial planner.

Also how often should you review and change your portfolio
Thanks

In a typical 5 year period you get at least one year which suffers a major drop. The reasons vary but you know one will be coming. This is not some new event and the current drop on the markets is not close to the drop seen at the start of the millennium.

That is the logical answer. You could review your asset/sector allocation as its a bit heavy UK based and has hardly any downside protection (lower risk areas).

once a year. more as you get larger fund values.

    Thanks for your reply.
Anybody suggest which I drop, and then replace with ?

Or leave this to the advice of the Planner?
