IMPORTANT Asda up vigilance on voucher usage

Hi, hope this is the right place, just thought i'd mention here that a new briefing pack was sent down today to all Asda stores and from Monday 3rd November no Asda store should accept any vouchers unless you are purchasing the product. There is also an update going to be sent to the Self Scan checkouts to ensure that it is followed here. Now, how it will work, or indeed if it even does is going to be down to the implementation in each store, but for the first few weeks at least i would expect it to be pretty strict.

Thought you might all like to know!

none of the asdas in my area take vouchers when not purchasing product, this was a firm rule no matter who you asked. But I would imagine that it may affect their business a bit in those that did as people will go elsewhere.
