Help!
I need to open a bank account fast, not with lloyds or barclays, my credit rating is shot and i am seriously considering going bankrupt. i need an account to pay into where my exsisting banks cannot search and claim monies, any suggestions as i think most that i apply for will be refused on my history?
all suggestions welcome!!
ps try the pub!! dancing panda's and everything, last time i saw those i was very very drunk and strapped to a yak.

I guess you were expecting sympathetic responses - if so don't read on...........
Running away from the inevitable is not going to help you - face up to your commitments and talk to the banks - they will hound you if you don't.
I'm not sure I like the use of bankruptcy to escape responsibilities - you clearly have some sort of income stream yet you just want to duck your debts - its because of those kind of behaviours that we all pay so much for facilities -I hope you wake up soon.

Providing you have no CIFAS fraud flags on your credit file you should be able to get either Natwest Step account, ( comes with solo card ) or a Co-Op Cashminder ( comes with electron)
Both of these are good basic accounts, and can be used as a staging post to hold funds and re-pay your creditors at a rate which is realistic for your current circumstances.
If you use one of the above accounts then your other creditors ( unless linked) will not be able to raid the new account.
However if you do go down the Bankruptcy route then the official receiver will obviously consider all accounts in their assessment:rolleyes: It’s hard enough remembering my opinions - without remembering my reasons for them :rolleyes:0 -
I think this op meant that he doesnt want Lloyds or barclays to take money out of his account without him knowing - he wants an account away from them 2 so they cant - (normal practise when you sign up with cccs or payplan) - try Natwest or co-op - good luck.0
