I want to have a letter from santa for my babies first christmas this year to keep in his memory box. I have seen some nice looking ones on ebay and was just wondering if anyone here has bought one before that they would recommend. I want it to be something special that will be worth keeping and am worried about being disapointed by ordering one that is poor quality.
We only have a lazer printer at home which is black ink so cant do it myself, and i like the ones that have the north pole post mark. yes i do know im mad!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Over on the freebie board, if you type Santa in the search box there are more to pick from.
Hope that helpsMary

If you don;t have a colour printer you could always write your own letter and just add some santa stick on pieces.
I did one last year to my baby grandson (his first christmas but his mum keeps all that sort of stuff for when he's older). I put teddy images on from internet but if I couldn't I'd have stuck something on.Mary

We did this last year for our eldest son. Well worth the fiver to see the look on his face! The letter gets posted to the recipient and you are doing a good thing for charity too. Win:win I'd say!

I have addapted a print off one and found one of my friends who is happy to let me use her printer, I just need to wait until after he is born and we have finalised his name before i print it off!
Thanks for the hints. I did try the nspcc one but i dont think they are doing them now.
How do people who send ones via ebay get the northpole post mark on the letters, do i just have to go into the post office?DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
lunar - glad you got sorted out. Just finished typing mine out for grandson and did the envelope as well.
Put a postmark on it and blessed if I can remember where I got it...........probably googled 'images' or something........I was doing a lot of googling that day...........................lol
I put the postmark at the right hand side, an image of santa and his reindeer at the bottom (opposite side) printed it out and stuck it on an envelope (don't know how to print on envelopes...........lol) like a sort of label and edged it with gold peel offs I use for card making.
If I remember, or find where I got the postmark from I'll let you know.Mary

I got one for my daughter last year for free from Royal Mail... The letter was pretty generic but it was addressed to her, and after 'writing' her own letter she was over the moon to get it... She was 3 then, we'll probably do the same this year...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
