print and make kids pirate / treasure hunt maps

This printable pirate map from www.printables.info is quite good fun. You print off two pdfs. One has blank pirate map, the other symbols and bits to cut out and stick on. Had fun yesterday with the kids doing this. Till the rain started that is. then it bacame an indoor trasure hunt

Theres tips to make it look older, i didnt try it, paper and grills not my thing.
theres a lot of other printable stuff on the site, not a lot as it looks like its quite new.

We love pirate treasure hunts at parties too. I've found a great on line company that sell a really well designed treasure hunt kit for £5.99 - google search lelloandmonkey to find them.

There are some free colour in your own pirate printables too!
