    Morning,

Can I have a little 'woohoo' moment?

I set up the standing order for the difference between the old and new mortgage payments, so thats all sorted.

Plus my payroll dept got back to me, my salary this month is correct! So I've put £200 to the OP cause and £200 to my savings.

    Yay!

    Well Done you:T:T:T
  • i think you definatley deserve a 'woohoo' moment...:j !!!!

congrats on what you have acheived already....i have no doubt that you will continue...who knows, you may even reach you mf date earlier at this rate!!:D
  • Hi just thought I'd check in.

Nothing much to report really, just chipping away at the mortgage really. Got about another grand to find before I can max out the amount I can OP this financial year.

I set myself the tartget of getting that by Christmas and I'm really hoping to make it. I'm probably going to put another £200 over next week (payday next Fri, got plenty left) and my change jar and £2 coin collection are mounting up again nicely. Also set up a standing order for £70 a mth to reflect the difference our old repayment and the new one they've now given us.

Started planning for Christmas, and it doesn't look too bad TBH. Not got tons of people to buy for and I really am going to be sensible and not go OTT like I can do. I've been saving my Boots points , and also my Tesco and Sainsburys points so I'm going to start browsing there for gifts first.

Hope we're all doing well, off to catch up on everyones diaries now.
  • good luck on the 1k by christmas....i am sure you will do it..:T :D
  • Well payday next week so I've just transferred another £200 quid over from what I have left this month. I've also topped up my own savings. So good to know that if I don't make the magic £2699 I've got savings to tap into.

So I'm getting closer to my goal. Had quite a few £2 coins through the Gillybean household these last couple of weeks so I need to empty my pot out and update that bit of my sig as well.

    Doing good here!
