After bombarding them with about 40 odd e-mails in the past few days they have confirmed (I think?) that my order has been despatched. Crazy though, I ended up getting replies from at least 4 different people in their customer services dept, who then gave me 2 different Tracking IDs for the same order and couldn't make up their mind if/when the order was despatched or if it was complete.
I know from the e-mail responses that they claim to have been inundated with orders and are struggling to meet the demand for PSPs. Last Friday they were working up to midnight to try and catch up with the backlog. I know because I was getting e-mails sent to me just before midnight.
Hopefully the order will be with me in the next few days. I'll let you know if it is correct and complete.0 -

I ordered a Sony PSP from ePinnacle on the 28th November 2005. I paid through their third party payments handler 2checkout.com. I received an order confirmation, and the funds were taken from my bank account.
I received no notification of despatch, so I sent a number of emails requesting the status of my order. I was advised that there was a delay due to the number of Christmas orders. Eventually my order status was updated to 'order processed-passed to warehouse' on the 6th December 2005, so I was happy in the knowledge that my order would be despatched.
This morning I received an email from 2checkout.com, advising that they had been instructed to refund my account.
I have logged into ePinnacle to check my order status, which is now showing 'cancelled' due to problems with 2checkout.com. The message advises that if I wish to proceed with the order, I should make payment using an alternative method for which they will provide a 5% discount. They also advised that I would receive a refund within 1 hour.
I have tried to contact ePinnacle by telephone and by email. The telephone number is simply an answerphone message which cuts off, and I have had no response to my emails. Their online support desk is constantly offline! I have not received my refund, and have contacted 2checkout.com who advise that they are no longer accepting orders from ePinnacle due to "epinnacle wishes to be paid for products that have not been delivered to our buyers. That is contrary to the terms of the Supplier Agreement for 2Checkout.com vendors." I have been advised that the refund will be in my account in 7-10 days.
I have paid for an expensive item which has not been despatched. I now need to wait for 7-10 days for a refund, and so it looks like I won't be able to order the item from another supplier prior to Christmas.
I am annoyed to say the least!!!
I have submitted a report on https://www.ixat.net which can be viewed here:-

I have also reported ePinnacle to my local trading standards office.
Can I suggest that other users who have experienced problems do likewise?
Regards
PS - I have just received an email from 'Ken' advising that they are chasing my refund - I await with baited breath!0 -
Remember if you are buying from Makro the £152.99 does not include VAT so with VAT it’s £180.0

My local Woolies have a special deal on for locals in that you place an order for a PSP value pack (standard I think for £179.99) and the minute they get stock they will call you and you can pay over the phone. I would be willing to help out anyone who is stuck, just pay for the Special Delivery price to be delivered0
