I think most people accept that no political party as their interests at heart.
It is just a question of getting someone in place who can sort some of this mess out without borrowing more and more.
This is right Geoff, we don't have an option of "no government" and seeing that no one could possibly do a worse job than NuLabia over the past 11 years, they have to be worth a punt.0 -
too bad we don't have a no gov. option.
I, for one, could do with some respite from politcoes manipulating/massaging/falsifying and misrepresenting.

It doesn't matter what Cameron says - Basil Brush could win the next election against Gordon Brown
My Dad used to say that in my Granny's constituency (Banstead and Reigate) they'd vote in a dishcloth so long as it was blue.
He was bemused by the fact that she did canvassing, when the result was such as foregon conclusion that they weighed the vote instead of counting it....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

fianna fail could've fielded a monkey and still produced a landslide.
perhaps it's a good 'thing' that politics in the UK has become 'fluid', as opposed to the tribalism of yesteryear.
I just wish more people would vote.miladdo0 -

If any of you think that the tories will do you any good or represent your interests you are fools of the highest order..they are there to look after the rich and the underlings can go to hell as far as they are concerned....yeah the tories have your interests at heart ..no they dont. i agree labour have been a sham but thinking the tories will look after you is like asking your jailer for the keys..you are not going to get it....
Only the Tories will look after Middle England, the middle classes.
The Labour lot ALWAYS squeeze the middle classes.0
