Just signed up for this as I wanted to get an idea on my credit score, but they want a fiver for it! Is this right? I thought it was free!
Also how do I go about cancelling it?

The credit score costs £4.99, on top of anything else. It's probably not useful to know what your credit score is because I don't believe any card provider or bank will ever use the score Experian calculate.
To cancel the trial, just ring the Experian freephone number (should be on the letter they sent you with your password) and select option 3 - special option for people who want to cancel. I cancelled last week, no questions asked at all, and confirmation was sent instantly by email.
But make sure you have printed off your credit report before you cancel :cool:0 -
I wouldn't bother with the score as most lenders will use their own scoring methods based on the questions they ask, I had an 'excellent' rating according to Equifax and still got refused for credit a while back!!Mortgage-free wannabe!0
