DS has gone to school without a coat - says it will prepare him for going to Norway

Just nipped out to go to weightwatchers.....stayed the same so a bit disappointed, but nothing gained so I suppose I have to be content with that!

Miz, I am trying not to make my lists too long - that is where I fell down before I think......101 things to do and only 3 crossed off at the end of the day wasn't really doing me any favours.

So I am going to limit them to 6 MSE/DFW things and 6 non MSE/DFW things MAXIMUM a day......more chance of succeeding! (she says hopefully!)

Before my accident I regularly did this (lived in Darlington and we had six foot snow drifts one year! Mam insisted I wore a coat that day :rotfl:)

I gained 22.5 pounds this week (well as of Monday morning I had gained 27 pounds!), are you measuring yourself Hypno? It could be that you are losing inches with the running.

Sounds sensible to me! It isn't as though you are at home all day just doing housework etc, you have a job to do!

Even if I WAS at home all day I am sure I could find many housework avoidance techniques.............

As for the weight, although I am not measuring myself as such, I KNOW that my clothes are fitting me differently, so yes, the running is having the desired affect that way.....would be nice to see it reflected in the scales though!

Home at last! I went for a short (2.6 miles) run when the children were at karate, and then had to stop off at the shops on the way home for milk, cat litter and other exciting stuff.......

Surfbabe, sorry your DD suffered a bit after giving blood - I hope it hasn't put her off going again - it is such a worthwhile thing to do and FREE!!

    Hiya
I've not been around much but wondered how you were getting on. Brilliantly I see. The running seems to have got really good - do you enjoy it yet? I'm still walking the dogs for two hours a day and the old lady (she 12 in January and was really slow and miserable for the last year) has a new lease of life with the pup. I'm typing quietly so as not to wake them as I can't cope with another walk tonight!!! Hope things are good for you - i'm going to have a read of your thread now xx
