Mackenzie Hall - HELP!

Hi just wondering if anyone can help, I'm a newbie and i know Mackenzie Hall have been covered but I could do with some help. I recieved a phone call from Mackenzie Hall they asked for me by my christian name when i answered the phone so i just said yes that it was me -DOH!, they said i they were acting in behalf of Cabot Financial who i owed 471.07 at which point i stopped the gentleman on the phone and said i was aware of the debt which was originally from barclycard and dated from about 1998 and i had settled the debt with cabot in 2004( paying less than the original amount owed as i payed within a certain time period' the 471.07 is what was left). He said they have no record of this, i can't find my letter of satisfaction so they said i have to pay by the end of the month. I phoned cabot the next day and they checked back and said that as far as they could where concerned there was no debt and they would e-mail M.H.. I then phoned M.H and passed this info on to them. A few days later i phoned M.H. to check that everything was sorted but they said they hadn't yet recieved the E-mail. I contacted cabot again who say they have sent the E-mail. This was on the 9th of this month i haven't heard anything else from anyone, what should i do ?
