Are they just wheat intolerant or do they have coelaic disease as there is a difference?

Most supermarkets carry their own free from ranges, I like Tesco for Doves Farm flour for baking or chocolate muffins if you don't like baking. Also most products now carry allergy warning, one of which is contains wheat or gluten, so you can always check if you are buying ready made items. Remember that extras like sausages, stuffing etc usually contain wheat and gluten so if in doubt cook your turkey seperately, don't stuff it as otherwise your guest may refuse the turkey as well.

Dinner or other hot meals are usually fine as all meat unless processed, veg poataoes rice etc are OK. Cold food can be hard, no bread, pasta salads, watch salad dressings, watch sauces, crisps etc. A wheat intolerant might eat rye bread which is available from most supermarkets, but a coelaic can only eat wheat and gluten free bread which has to be warmed through immediately before serving.

Marks and Spencers do a couple of gluten free cakes, one iced top for Christmas, horrendously expensive though.

Good luck, I'm sure your guest will appreciate the trouble you are taking.

You can get Ogran vegetable pasta from Tesco that has no wheat in it.

Ask your local pharmacy they should be able to order you some things.

They mainly supply them on prescriptions but can order them for sale too
