  • Do any of you use ebid rather than ebay? I asked for a bit of advice on ebay as I've never used it before, and was told to try ebid because although they're not as busy, they still get a decent amount of traffic and don't charge any fees for listing on them.

I was toying with the idea of joining this challenge - but so far this month I've only made a grand total of £107 - so I'm not sure I'd make it all the way to £310 before the end of the month! I'm gonna give Ebid a go though, and have a car booty for anything that doesn't sell - so you just never know!!

hi snowbrow welcome! welcome to you too crap_with_money.com! why not aim for £5 per day for this month thats only £155 and then go for the full £10 next month if you feel like it.

I don't use ebid but i've heard of others who do who make some sales, with ebays new fees and rules i think more people are moving over there now too so could be worth trying as i think you dont pay fees unless you sell something (i could be worng)

Not a lot I know but I managed to save £1.56 - I fancied some chocolate and headed to my local shop and found that they had reduced bars of fruit n nut choc down from 52p to 26p. I bought six and to be honest they taste much better than the full priced ones yet there is no difference:D I have no idea why the shop was selling them cheap because the sell by date is December 2009
  • Oooh that's good news about free listing day! I have some junk left over (not much though) so will try to flog it.

I've just cashed out £10.50 on Panelbase, also I'm a couple of points off cashing out on Mutualpoints and also need 14p to clear on Cashbackrewards and then I can cashout there too :D Other than that, I'm not making much progress. I really need to get my butt into gear...

That's actually quite a good idea - Can I join in too then, and I'll aim for the £155 for this month to see how I go with it! If I even make that much I'll be delighted!!

    xx

PS When you complete on-line surveys, do you count the money when you have enough to actually transfer the cash into your account? Or do count it the day you do it?
  • PS Can I also count Tesco points? I started using one every time I've topped up my car - and I'm averaging about £6.50 worth of points in the month - again, would that only count when I cashed them though?

cwm.com you can count the points/cashback whenever you want to, personally I only count it when I get it in my grubby mits/the bank account but thats my preference.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
