Just ordered 2 cinema tickets from pigsback, which I'll add when they turn up in Oct. Also have an Amazon payment lined up for (hopefully) next Thursday and a paypal payment for next week. 5 items finishing tonight, so hopefully that will take me over the minimum on paypal again. :j

    Hello! :j

I've really enjoyed my first month of doing this challenge so I'd like to sign up again for October! Though I've not made my £300 target, I'd like to stick with the £10-a-day target.

    V many thanks!

  • Hi,

I am doing a lot of challenges right now to stop spending but maybe I do need one to make money too. I'm going to try and not do cash back deals though as I'm trying to stop buying things and I think even with quidco etc it is tempting to buy things to get the cash back so will have to be very strict with myself and only do cash back if I'm making more money back than what I spend.

I'm tempted to do Matched Betting though so maybe with the money I save from not smoking I can "spend" that on Matched Betting and see if I can figure out how that works rather than just wasting money on euro millions each time it gets about 50mil.

So please can you put me down for £5 a day please. Do you think it is cheating to include my non smoking money - just as an extra incentive to keep not smoking - if that is allowed then maybe change it to £10 a day then that is 5 from smoking and 5 from extras if that makes sense.

Thanks for arranging this and everyone that does all the challenges you guys are amazing to think these things up and keep the momentum going on them I don't know how you all do it. :T

Bobbie - I think you should definately add the "no smoking" money and do £10 a day - its a great incentive and well done for trying. I wish my OH would try to give up
