I still have no money - but I have £40+ of ebay sales finishing today and I made £15 on consumer pulse (which I am going to let build up and claim in vouchers at the end of the month.
So I should have made £80 so far for the month and I have £55 - not quite on target but I cant see me making it up over the month - I have sold my best stuff although I have another 10 auctions ending at the weekend they started as 99p auctions and most havent got a bid but the ones that do only have 1 bid on them.
I am selling some brand new next pjs which were £25 but they only have £5 of bids on them - but I have 14 people watching - I hope there is a last minute flury!

welshnoonoo - i put an ad on gumtree offering tying, admin and proofreading and got a reply from a woman at a company in glasgow called virtually sorted or something like that. am going to do the tests later today and email them back to her. £10 an hour will really help us out, even if I have to pay tax and stamp on the money
! just got to research how much of it I should put away for the tax and insurance bills or whether I can pay weekly/monthly which would leave us in a better financial position. Hubby has also done a couple of discos for a friend of ours but he used the money to pay for shopping and petrol but he is looking at getting his own gigs and just renting the kit from our mate, so that would really help the pot a lot!
And because we will both technically be classed as self employed, DH with his own business, we are going down to bookers tomorrow to get a membership card to get us cheap shopping:j !
have money pending from ciao and quidco:D , just waiting for it to get paid, and need to list loads of DH's old kit on ebay. Hubby bought a load of kit when he was still in the army. He's not in anymore:j and doesn't need it but is still trying to keep it in boxes in the house. I'm going to be really sneaky and list it all (in small lots!) and hopefully get rid of it bit by bit and get some money to pay stuff off, and DD1 wants a laptop for christmas (aarrggghhh!). She is 6 and has seen a mini laptop for £200 so would need to make that to get it for her. At least it would keep her away from my computer lol.
I just wish I could get something like delivering leaflets that I could do as well, that would give me some extra cash. Have looked into yellow pages delivery but that would end up costing us more than it would pay so not really that worth it. Just need to find as much work as poss from home! I wish I didn't have this disability or I could go and get my old job back but never mind!
Although DH has just applied for a job today that would put him just £2K a year less than he was getting which would get us out of a huge big hole! Keeping fingers and toes crossed that he gets it!LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Bonsibabe - what a great idea to list something like that skill on gumtree! Well done you - I hope it works out.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
That is a really good idea bonsibabe - I wouldn't of thought of putting an ad of that nature on gumtree. Good luck - keep us posted!0
-
Thanks for the idea Bonsaibabe - may try something similar. Although I barely have time to do the things I've already got going on so perhaps I should concentrate on what I'm already meant to be doing! Hope you get a good result from it.
Yukkibear, instead of GP, have you looked at Quidco, Topcashback, Quanti? They pay about double the rates you get from Greasypalm. Probably teaching grandma to suck eggs but thought it worth a mention!0 -
thanks all, I got the idea from another member here. i was trying to look for ways to earn extra money and they suggested placing an ad on gumtree. i did get a load of junk emails in the first week but relisted and got this offer. i'm goingto keep relisting it to see if I can get more work out of it. It was free to list so didn't cost anything. Here's hoping I can get some more work out of it!
I have just been on quidco and see that cashinmyfone are offering £4.50 cashback per transaction so have arranged to trade in a phone. Its only worth £1.88, but its better cashback than envirofone (and its the same company!). The £4.50 is per transaction not per phone, so its better to trade in one phone at a time! Well like Mr T's say, every little helps lolLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:
