Remortgage and redundancy problem

Hi, we are putting our house up for sale, and now this week my husband was made redundant, i don't have a salary. Our mortgage fixed rate is up 1st Dec. Will we still get a remortgage, as my husband starts new employment tommorow. We own a big share in our house, and we will be only looking for a £30,000 or £40,000 mortgage, and our current mortgage is £76,000, our house is worth £235,000. we planned to down size until the market changes again. Now will we have to rent?, just so worried now.
Anyone can suggest what my options are, many thanks.

Hi, considering your LTV and your husband getting a new job tomorrow, their shouldnt be a problem, 3 months wage slips are generally req, with your mortgage being low at worst you may have to wait until January to remortgage but i doubt it0
