In Car Dvd Or Ps2 In Car

Sorry, I hope the header makes sense. Someone was asking a couple of days ago whether to buy a in car DVD player or the screens to enable to play your PS2 in the car (which I presume will allow you to also play DVD's). Can anyone point me in the right direction or be able to tell me which would be the better route to go. I've seen one of the PS2 screens x2 to use in the car in argos but don't know it it will play DVD's as well.
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves
