Advice needed re tesco e-vouchers please

Sometime ago I started using Tesco online grocery shopping. I then followed a link on their site to start receiving e-vouchers. I have now discovered form the clubcard site that they cannot be used for clubcard deals. Stupidly I didn't realise this when I opted for e-vouchers.
Has anyone any advice or tried converting the e-vouchers to standard vouchers/deals?

Quite simply - you can't - you will need to opt back out of receiving them - you should be able to do this by going into "My account" section and then click on "Your clubcard details" -
AFAIK if you do it before the next mailing you should get all your points as paper vouchers rather than some evouchers (up to the point when you changed back) and some paper - if that makes sense ??
but I would email clubcard and make sure

Have you tried going to tesco.com signing in then going to your account then to clubcard vouchers then change it there to vouchers rather than evouchers. You could ring them or email them aswell to make sure that the amount will be sent to you in voucher form at the next due statement. They should be able to do this because I lost some vouchers once and they just cancelled the voucher they had sent me and put the amount back onto my total so its similar kind of thing but the other way around. Only thing is youd be waiting till the next statement to be able to use the vouchers they send you but you shouldn't lose any of them anywayThanx

You can opt for paper vouchers rather than e-vouchers at https://www.tesco.com then sign in with username/password. Click the "My account" link at the top of the window, then "Clubcard details" which is towards the bottom of the page. From the next screen you can then choose whether to receive e-vouchers or paper vouchers.
I changed my mind a couple of times about what type of vouchers to receive but ended up with e-vouchers, which is what I wanted. As far as I know, you can change the option whenever you like, but it's the option you've selected at end of the points collecting period that determines what vouchers you get. Hope that makes sense! :rotfl:

Hi there, I was just coming on the forum to post exactly the same thing, I am really annoyed that I can't use the e-vouchers for clubcard deals as I have been saving up the paper ones for ages, swapped to e-vouchers cos I now shop online but now realise I can't use them for deals. I have just had a long conversation about this with them and the only thing to do would be to swap to paper vouchers for my next statement, send back my evouchers and they can put them on my next statement in February.......not exactly convienient! Then I still can't use the online points codes. I don't see why internet shoppers shouldn't be able to get clubcard deals.......I will be writing a letter of complaint so if others feel the same then please write them a letter too so we can see if we can get this changed

hi lizwig, I may have misunderstud your last posting but I think you are you are under the impression that you can't shop online, use ecodes to get money off/bonus points and still make use deals? just to let you know you can, you do the online shopping using the codes as normal, just get the paper vouchers instead of evouchers, so you can have the best of both worlds. You dont have to opt for evouchers just cos you use ecodes. :j

Hey there, this is all very confusing!
I opted to get e-vouchers as I wanted the e-codes you get with your statement, for 50 bonus points you get if you buy a cabbage etc as I now do all my shopping online so having the paper ones meant I never got to use them. But, I wanted to keep the paper money coupons as I am saving them up for deals and have been for ages...........after speaking to Tesco yesterday they confirmed that you can't have e-vouchers and paper money tokens......it has to be all email vouchers, or all paper vouchers and if you opt for the email option, then the money tokens you get can only be redeemed online and NOT be traded in for Tesco deals......I hope that this makes sense......

ahh, l did misunderstand you - sort of. I hadn't thought about the smaller points offers that you get with the statement. I tend to do a big online shop and use the codes found online for 1000 points etc, then use all my small value paper ones at a small in-between shop.0
