HSBC deals changed to 75% LTV

Just noticed on HSBC that all the deals on fixeds are no longer 90% LTV.

I was looking at the 3 yrs fixed at 5.69 - but this is no longer available for 90% LTV people, only 75%

amazing how quickly it all changes!

    Its good news in the long run as it promotes more secure lending, however it is a painfull pill in the short run for many. good luck

    This will start to force house prices down to if all banks start doing it as no one will be able to get a mortgage......unless people drop their price

    It makes me mad.If only they had all done this to some degree - say 90% -some time ago we wouldn't be in this mess.
