Does anyone know of a SOA spreadsheet?

Hi Everyone

Working on some money saving tools today and I wanted to set up an effective spreadsheet. I've seen quite a few but they all seem a little complicated and I need something simple like the SOA version.

Does anyone know of a spreadsheet based on the SOA budget?

Thanks

URG

  • How familiar are you with excel, if you can use sum, + and - then you can plaigarise the row names from the online calculator at www.makesenseofcards.com (then click on statement of affairs calculator)

All you then need to do is work out what is in and what is out of each bit that needs calculation.

I keep on meaning to do a snowball spreadsheet linked to a SOA spreadsheet to help me keep on top of things but haven't got round to it.

    Hi P&D

This is the second attempt at responding - my computer is playing up!

Thanks for your response - was just hoping someone had got to it before me. I have used the main budget planner but find it too detailed and fidelly.

I have just set up a spreadsheet but my knowledge of excel is really simple. Was hoping to have a spreadsheet that I could input the numbers on one page and you get a nice spreadsheet - a bit like the SOA calculator.

Oh well - maybe I'll learn and be able to submit my own one day (oh look - there's a pig flying!).

  • LOL - I know what you mean, I reckon I will get round to my amazing all singing all dancing spreadsheet about the same time that hell freezes over or the pope converts (which is also when I will get around to listing all that junk on ebay)

There are a couple near the bottom of this page.

    Here and here.

I've only had a brief look, so I'm not certain how useful they are.

National Debtline also have a personal budget sheet, but it's an executable rather than an Excel spreadsheet I think.
